Teri is up and jotting down her notes while enjoying the sunrise from bed.
Our tracks spread out from the base of the chute and all eventually lead to our camp in Deadman Canyon.
Daniel toasts his morning tea as things start to warm up and air out at camp.
The next morning, Teri, with her tan cheeks and goggle eyes, works her way through a hardy bowl of oatmeal while still in bed. Eat up... it's going to be a big day.
With no way but over the top, we opt to call it an early day and take a rest. This is wise considering our big push over Milestone Col and late night at camp yesterday.
With the warm sun finally upon us in this deep and protected bowl, we get things out to dry. Including our bundled up Teri.
Daniel looks like he's quite happy to stay in his bag a little longer.
After a cold night, Teri emerges from her sleeping bag with a big smile and is ready to tackle the day.
Peter is next out of the kiva to greet the day.
Teri jots down some thoughts of the previous day... like "what sort of mess have I gotten myself into now??"
