KILIMANJARO, TANZANIA - Senecia Trees (Dendrosenecio kilimanjari, Senecio kilimanjari) silhouetted against the sky and a ridge line above Barranco Camp (13,000 feet) along the Machame Route.
Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa up the Machame route with Amy Andrews, George Andrews, Eric Bowers, Cameron Martindell starting on 11 September 2007. Six day climb. All made it to the summit: 5,895m.
KILIMANJARO: The clouds (fog) whipped in and out of camp all morning and at one point, they left enough moistrure in the air to create this amazing rainbow right next to us.
