SOUTH POLE, ANTARCTICA; It wasn't until my third day here that I actually made a visit out to the specific point of the South Pole. This is the ceremonial South Pole, with the flags of the founding nations of the Antarctic Treaty.
SOUTH POLE, ANTARCTICA: The engines keep running to keep everything warm as we're just on the cusp of the hydraulics freezing and preventing the plane from getting back to McMurdo.
