SOUTH POLE STATION, ANTARCTICA: Snow Formation. This was once a strip of snow up along the building side, but the sun has caused it to slowy soften and peal away... looks like a sea horse.
SOUTH POLE, ANTARCTICA; Sometimes the wind really kickes up. At times it was blowing a steady 25kts with gusts up to 32kts. This photo was taken from the comfort of the galley in the new station.
