SOUTH POLE, ANTARCTICA: On our way back, the skiway is still clear. The prevailing winds blow right down the skiway in the direction we're looking, so the ski equipped LC-130's land and take off coming toward this point. Sorry no numbers to tell you what direction the air strip is pointing. But it's roughly parallel with the Prime Meridian and the 180 deg longitude line. From this view, McMurdo and New Zealand are pretty much straight ahead.
