SOUTH POLE STATION, ANTARCTICA: In anticipation for the LC-130 to take off, I hoof it down the skiway and pass where I check in for work every morning, the station construction office (4th from the back) the other buildings, known as Jamesways, include the Carpenter, Electrical, Metalworks shop and offices.
SOUTH POLE STATION, ANTARCTICA: The LC-130 Hercules gains speed and gets its nose off the ground.
