At the pull-out the boats get unloaded.
Suddenly there are only two left in the boat. Jason at the helm. Rachel looking good on the bow.
Some big splashes got everybody wet on that last run.
Another good rapid run for Mark and his team.
Mark and his crew hit Boxcar Rapid square on and make it through.
Another little stop.
More massive cliffs along the way.
Back on the river, ready to roll.
Drifting down stream again.
The late sun uses the western bank to cast a shadow on our last set of rapids for the day.
They meet up with Eddie and Philippe boards the cargo vessel.
A bunch of drifters just letting the current take them in the late afternoon.
As the afternoon wears on, the sun really starts to glisten on the river.
Between rapids
Some of Mark's crew opts for a little siesta on the calm flat bits.
More choppy water.
Floating past the basalt cliffs of insanity.
Back on the river. Full bellies, happy rafters.
They're a dedicated bunch, and teamwork gets them through with out flipping the raft.
It's not over yet and Mark keeps a steady eye down stream.
And there they are... Kara in front suggesting a route.
Back at the rafts, Dave and Eddie are ready to roll.
Ah good, the boats are still here.
By 3.30 we had made it to our first camp site, Whisky Dick, and it was time to unload the boats and get camp set up.
